The Mojo Hand Colossus fuzz delivers the massive sound of the Russian Sovtek Big Muff with a few world-altering improvements. For all who like their chords slathered in rich harmonics and their leads soaked in wild buzzing beehive honey, all the upper register sweetness, the mid level grit and fire and the kneecap shattering lows are here for the tweaking. Like the Sovtek Muff's Volume, Sustain, and Tone controls, the Colossus features Volume, Gain, and Tone plus an all new knob labeled Mids, which helps you cut through any live mix for a smoking hot lead voice.

The three position toggle offers EQ driven versatility to the thunder. The Up position cuts the bass slightly and boosts the highs, the Down position boosts the low end, and the Middle position gives a powerful kick to the mids and adds noticeable focus the Mid control itself. This EQ serves wonderfully as a quick adjustment when swapping between guitars with single coils and those with humbuckers in mid set.

As with all Mojo Hand effects, the Colossus fuzz is hard wired for true bypass switching, and is built to last with the best components and the finest craftsmanship in a die-cast enclosure and a professionally powder coated finish. Works with a standard center negative 9 Volt power supply or battery.
